SUSTAINABILITY

1. Only locally-bred horses are used in each safari;

2. Preserving the Appaloosa breed is central to the ethos of the company. Read more about it in our BLOG here (will be the first article I write for you);

3. Only organic feed is provided to each & every horse, using locally produced ingredients & manufacturers;

4. Wherever possible, only existing roads and/or footpaths already made by animals on the terrain of each safari are used en route;

5. Only local tack is used for each safari;

6. EUR100 of every Pegasus client is provided to the SPCA-donkey-protection-project, protecting donkeys throughout Southern Africa against the illegal donkey-hide trade as can be seen here Donkeys In Crisis | NSPCA.
