Pegasus Retreats has partnered up with African Conservation Experience and The World’s first Rhino Orphanage – bringing voluntourism to Africa by helping to protect the world-renowned RHINO in South Africa on horseback. Having true clout in the volunteer-market with an outstanding track-record, ACE provides a truly professional experience alongside Pegasus for volunteers from all walks of life.
Various dates and itineraries are available, with a strong focus on anti-poaching of not only the white- and black rhinos of South Africa, but also the Eugene Marais CYCAD – another critically endangered species of South Africa. Volunteering takes place from April through to September each year, and can be viewed here.
